Jane Lock

Jane began her HR career working as an HR Director in one of the prestigious law firms, Howard Rice, et al., in San Francisco. Promoted from within, Jane was mentored and coached during her early days as an HR Director , by one of the senior partners at Littler, Mendelson, a law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law. As a result of this relationship with Littler Mendelson, Jane places a significant emphasis on compliance with state and federal law and is an expert in helping clients manages the complex web of the leave of absence laws in California. During her tenure at Genworth Financial Wealth Management, Jane provided expertise to support staff development, implemented HR operational strategy and partnered with executive-level staff throughout the organization to get input on HR decisions. She implemented key change initiatives, including the development of competency models for its sales and operations groups within the organization, assisted in the development of Genworth University for its sales consultants and implemented a succession planning initiative for its executive personnel.

 

As a business owner, Jane has partnered with organizations across various industries such as sporting goods, manufacturing, high-tech, telecommunications, hospitality, medicine, veterinary practice, legal, financial, recruiting services, rehabilitation centers, property management, and media - to name a few.

 

Jane has a wonderful family, including a daughter who is six. She loves to climb hills with her German shepherd, and is training to walk the Pacific Trail in 2013. Her passion is photography which she shares with you through the company website. She comes to the US via London, where her first job was working for the BBC. She is grateful to work in a career that she enjoys. In particular, she appreciates applying support and strategy that contribute to the success of a myriad of businesses.

 



Karen Jovin

Karen's career traverses a wide range of sectors and industries. She began her career at Simmons & Ungar, an Immigration Law Firm in SF, where she submitted all claims to USCIS and mastered culturally competent customer service. As a state employee, she developed an off-site office providing a full suite of Employment Services to personnel impacted by the military base closure in Alameda. It was here that she discovered her love for adult learning and change management. Next came a move to Pac Bell Mobile Services (start off company to what is now AT&T Mobile), where she conducted training in technology, sales, customer service (in both English/Spanish) and billing. Promoted to Associate Director over the Business Sector of Training Design.  She completed her MA in Management in 2001.  In 2003 she decided to broaden her HR experience by becoming both SPHR certified as a Coach through New Ventures West.  Karen currently provides Leadership Training, Organizational Change Management and Group and Individual Coaching services to 3,200 employees who range from direct service providers, IT, Engineers and Public Health Case Workers. Additionally, for insourcingHR, LLC she supports the internal HR Department at Kikkoman Sales, USA on a full suite of HR services.
